Celebrating two months

This is Andrew after his first night of being babysat. It seems he faired rather well!!
I'm not so certain that the babysitter felt the same content that Andrew felt.

Andrew and Michael often enjoy napping together. I think Michael enjoys it much more than Andrew. He doesn't know just how valuable sleep is to us!!

Andrew's blessing was on Thanksgiving Day at the house of some dear friends of ours. I was quite weepy that morning as I dressed him. . .and so was Andrew. It was a wonderful day!

Andrew and I took our first trip on an airplane the second week of December. We flew to see G&G Cowser and my sister and her family. The cousins loved the new baby.

And Andrew loved them!!

We can hardly believe he has been with us for two months. What a beautiful boy.

In the last two weeks, Andrew has loved standing. . . we pray that he won't start moving too fast. The apartment has not been baby-proofed yet.

Wishing you a wonderful holiday season.
We love you,

Andrew, Michael, and Jen

3 weeks down.

Hello to all. Andrew has informed us that he would like to get some more airtime with a few pics.

Here we see that the fine, young lad is easily pleased with a bit of home cooking and sleeping, and so he shows us his radiant smile.

Andrew would like to thank Grandma Teresa for taking such good care of him for an extended period of time.

"WHAT?!? Grandma left?"

What do you think? Is a career as a model for handcare products in his future?

Here we see Andrew immediately following a tiring swim in the bathtub. Green might just be his color.

Thanks for checking in on us. Andrew will keep you posted on all his exciting adventures.

Andrew Michael victorious

In the heated naming battle, "Andrew Michael Smith" came away the winner leaving many fine options available for future children. The losers are adjusting to the change.

In the meantime, more pictures:

Here, Andrew shows his pensive side as he ponders whether he might eat, sleep, or soil his diaper next.

It looks like sleeping won.

He awakes. How are his feet?

They look fine.

"Thanks for checking in. Stop by anytime." - Andrew

The Still Unnamed Son

Here he is!

But first, here we are after 30 hours of laboring at the hospital. Jen looks great and I look hammered.

Activities upon arrival include getting his weight, resting with Mommy, and counting all of his toes.

Is this one a smile?

Tired already. Too much smiling.

Hello, Grandma.

Here it is time to finally leave the hospital. Not a bad place to start a life. I look good in this.
